Glasgow Airport is about 2 ½ hours drive to the ferry, Edinburgh 3 hours.

The car ferry runs every half hour from 7.30am - 6pm. For the 3 months of summer it's back on from 7.30pm to 10.00pm and runs on Sunday. The rest of the year day time stays the same except Sundays and evenings when it is a passenger ferry. Click here for the timetable »

The house is a 10 minute drive from the ferry. Go straight down the Island and turn right at the cemetery to Black Mill Bay, then ½ mile on turn right over the gird up the drive to the Lodge. You actually see the white farmhouse from half way down the Island.

Oban is 16 miles from the ferry and takes around 30 minutes to drive to. There are many super-markets to choose from including Tesco, Aldi & Lidl. Best to do a big shop on the way in. If you are going to be pushed for time to do a shop before arriving, for a sum of £40, you could email a shopping list and we would do your basic shop for you to be in the house for your arrival. Tesco’s are talking about home delivery next year.

You will have a small welcome pack ready for your arrival including tea, instant coffee, milk and sugar. There are fresh flowers and a bowl of fruit awaiting you and if extra chilly the fire can be lit. There is bottled water in all the bedrooms

There is a house keeping charge of £250 refundable a week after you leave. This would also be used for phone calls and movies which we get the bills on-line for should you forget.
